So, ADPList uses this copy for its mentor search section. If you simply look at the copy, then you won’t be able to make that out as the word “search” isn’t used. Ofc, the copy is used inside the design and the user can clearly see the search bar with “Search for mentors” as the help text. I still feel the heading should be something else, like Find/Search mentors instead of “Add mentors” because then the call to action would reiterate the message.
Add mentors, in my opinion, is a copy more suited when there’s a list of mentors displayed and you simply have to tap on the + (add) icon to add them to your wishlist, much like it’s there on LinkedIn when adding someone to your network. What do you think?
